HISTORY Since the early 1970’s Highway Marine has provided a service to Sail and Power craft owners from our base at Pillory Gate Wharf Strand at Sandwich. All leading products from major manufacturers can be supplied: Evinrude/Johnson/Mariner outboards, Shetland, Orkne, Mayland, Zodiac Craft, Snipe, Hallmark trailers. We continue to provide new and used boat sales, yacht brokerage, full boatyard facilities/moorings and storage.

Highway Marin has over 30 years sales experience ranging from yacht brokerage and Zodiac inflatables to marine products and safety gear. As a result of our experience we are able to provide honest, constructive advice which can help you make the best choice possible.

MOORINGS (for more information about Moorings and Storage click here) The moorings are located just up stream of the Toll bridge in Sandwich town centre. We also have moorings in the Swale and Oare Creek near Faversham. We have a total of seventy river based moorings of different types, suitable for boats up to 80 feet. Some of the berths dry out at low tides, others stay afloat at all states of the tide.

For sailing yachts and other large boats heading out to sea the bridge can be swung 24hrs a day at one hours notice (pic and contact numbers) and there is no charge for this service. Most smaller river craft can pass under it even at high water.
